The fruit of your destiny is nourished by the roots of your past. The Mush Hole' tells the story of Robert Gary Miller's experience of surviving the Mohawk Residential School in Brantford Ontario, less than an hour from Toronto. Through his art, Gary expresses his story of being forcibly removed from his home at the age of three, and his horrifying accounts and legacy of abuse and hardship in the residential school system for First Nations children. He also shares his arduous journey of seeking healing and a platform for reconciliation through his art.
