The main character is the driver Nikolai. He is on his way to a new pickup order and after he gets to the address he sees a disabled passenger. Its an18 year old boy who is accompanied by a volunteer. Inside the taxi cab a strange and tense discussion is taking place between the volunteer and Nikolai the driver. The volunteer can not understand why Nikolai has such an aggressive attitude towards the disabled boy. Within this discussion Nikolai is distracted from driving and the car gets into a terrible accident. Having regained consciousness in a hospital Nikolai realizes an unexpected news.
